IBM Boardroom

completed

January 2007

IBM employed TCP to build a boardroom which matched and surpassed its other offices around the world. It involved the design of a system for true multimedia collaboration beginning with a state of the art control and switching system that enabled any IBM personnel to set up or deliver images and sound to any of the 28 plasmas, projectors or video cubes in the office.

The multimedia executive boardrooms were also fitted with international capabilities enabling files of any type large and small to transferred and presented digitally anywhere around the world.. Other features in the boardroom include the 20 audio/video conference microphones that are in built into the boardroom table, as well as four high powered video data projectors built into a dedicated rear projection room.

As Total Concept Projects was involved both in the design and construction as well as the ongoing service and maintenance of the facility a lot of attention to detail and workmanship was employed. Whilst the centre was built a little over 12mnths ago it still represents today a bench mark in audiovisual technology and will be for sometime before it is surpassed.
