When the Anglican Church decided to bring Sydney's magnificent St Andrews Cathedral into the 21st Century, they turned to Total Concept Projects. Four 42” plasma screens were installed on various pillars to ensure better vision for the congregation. An AMX control system with 3 touch panels were also installed to control the entire audio and video system.
Four fully-motorised pan/tilt cameras and two fixed cameras was also integrated into the cathdral. A multiplexer system controls the pan and tilt, which again is controlled by the AMX Control System. Total Concept Projects interfaced with the Dynalite dimmers through the AMX System to give lighting control from any touch screen. Due to the site being heritage listed all audio equipment is craftily painted to resemble the stone and hence successfully blend into the environment.
